At Immaculate Heart College, we believe in holistic education that goes beyond the classroom. In Terms 2 and 3, we offer a dynamic range of extra-curricular activities designed to engage and inspire students of all ages. Some of our clubs run year-round, providing continuous opportunities for growth and enrichment.

IHC Community Netball Club has been running successfully for three years. 2023 saw us proudly entered teams in all divisions, including a Net Set Go squad that trained on Wednesdays. Our club has taken a significant step forward by operating independently without the support of the Bindoon Netball Association. This means that we managed our own home ground location at the Bullsbrook Netball courts, where we hosted five thrilling home games throughout the last season.

Our dedicated netball committee and coaches put in tireless efforts to ensure our teams developed exceptional netball skills, have a blast, and represent our College with utmost pride. Last season was filled with achievements, with our IHC Jets finishing at the top of the ladder in Set Go, IHCC Rockets leading in Junior 2, IHCC Astros securing third place in Junior 1, IHCC Storm dominating in Senior B, and IHCC Stars making their mark with a fourth-place finish in Senior A.

Run Club

The Health and Physical Education department takes immense pride in the resounding success of our beloved Run Club. Every Friday morning, rain or shine, our enthusiastic students eagerly rise to the occasion, exploring the picturesque streets that surround Immaculate Heart College.

Last year an extraordinary number of students triumphed, surpassing the awe-inspiring milestone of 100 kilometers. A true testament to their unwavering commitment and unwavering dedication, these remarkable individuals have attended every single session without falter.

Immaculate Heart College was proudly represented at the WA Interschool Equestrian Championships. Our talented riders, Serena Smith (Year 10), Chloe Carberry-Smith (Year 10), Evelyn Jones (Year 10), Emily Sweetman (Year 8), Sophie Tennant (Year 8), and Sophie Moseley (Year 6), showcased their remarkable skills in various disciplines including show-jumping, eventing, combined training, dressage, show horse, and vaulting. These exceptional riders exemplified our school spirit and sportsmanship, earning numerous individual accolades. Notably, Serena and Sophie Tennant achieved the honor of representing WA at the National event in Melbourne. Although we didn’t qualify for school awards due to limited participation, we eagerly invite more horse riders to join us next year and be part of our incredible journey!
