The Secondary School at Immaculate Heart College has been a Year 7 to 12 since 2021, allowing local students to complete their schooling with onsite teaching of both ATAR and General courses since 2021.
As a Catholic College, we pride ourselves in our theology curriculum which is taught across the College and thoroughly prepares students for both the ATAR and General courses of Religion and Life.

Middle School
Students in Years 7 and 8 access taster courses within The Arts and Technologies areas in preparation for selecting year long electives in Years 9 and 10. These short courses, lasting a term each, are designed to expose students to various facets of the curriculum. It offers students the opportunity to not only broaden their knowledge, but also develop interests and skills that may shape their academic path and future pursuits. The program aims to encourage curiosity, creativity, and a well-rounded approach to learning during these foundational years of secondary education.
Senior School
Students in Year 10 along with their parents’ complete course counselling which helps them identify their pathway for Year 11 and 12. At IHC we support students with pathways through ATAR Courses, General Courses, Vocational Courses (completed online or offsite) and can work with families and students who are wishing to pursue traineeships.

Workplace Learning and ASDAN
To help support all students to achieve success we also run endorsed courses in, Workplace Learning and ASDAN Short Courses. These specialised programs are designed to further support our students in achieving success by enhancing their practical skills, fostering real-world readiness, and nurturing personal growth. Through Workplace Learning, students gain invaluable hands-on experience and insights into professional environments, while ASDAN Short Courses offer targeted modules that promote essential life skills and personal development. These initiatives are integral to our commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students for both academic excellence and future endeavours.
